The Midwestern United States From Texas to The Great Lakes Region is rich in runabout history.  Many of the great classic wood runabouts like Chris Craft and Gar Wood were located in the upper Midwest and of course the great Fiberglass production pioneers, Lonestar and Glastron in Texas.  The upper Midwest, where  Fin City is located is probably the richest in legacy runabouts due to the abundance of natural lakes and rivers in the region.  Please find below some photo slideshows from some of the great boat shows in the Central Midwest.  Quincy, Muscatine, St. Louis/Alton (on the Mississippi River) and of course, KevFin's Midwest All Classics on the Rock River.  We hope to add more slideshows from other great events that feature classic runabouts this year, 2016.    Webmaster, Bob Whiteside
